Vernon's Aspenware Increases Production Capacity

Aspenware recently held its grand opening at its new 25,000 square-foot Vernon location on 11 Avenue. The new location, which houses a new production line, increases Aspenware's production capacity by ten-fold, allowing Aspenware to meet the growing demand for its wooden cutlery products.

Aspenware Inc. is a Canadian Company, established in 1997, that manufactures wooden forks, knives, spoons and soup spoons in Vernon, British Columbia. Aspenware takes wood that can't be sold and turns it into wooden cutlery that can be composted after its use. Over 100,000 pieces of Aspenware can be made from a single log.

Aspenware has a simple mission:
To develop and produce the highest quality premium compostable cutlery, with the minimal environmental footprint, and to displace the widespread use of conventional disposable plastic utensils.
