January in Canadian Real Estate - a look at four Communities
One of the reasons I chose Century 21 as the company to partner with for my real estate career was the fact that it was a strong national and international franchise... but it also has a cohesive family feeling to it. That has never been as true for me as in 2009. Earlier this year a Century 21 REALTOR from the east created an online community - and through that a growing network of avid and passionate people who search for and share best practices is evolving.
Today, as I was running market statistics for the Okanagan Shuswap it occured to me that through this network - we can have access to what is going on in real estate in Canada at a grassroots level - so I threw out the idea of sharing our market stats to help us monitor and understand what is going on in Canadian Real Estate and also gain perspective on our individual communities. There was interest in the idea, and Patrick Galesloot from Red Deer - suggested that we utilize Google Docs so that we can share a platform to post information.
Here is the beta version of a chart that we worked on this evening.

I look forward to seeing where this collaborative approach takes us.. and to sharing the information we learn from working together to understand what is really going on in the market.
