The Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board defines the Harwood neighbourhood as The area bounded by 27th Street to the overpass, 39th Avenue, Pleasant Valley Road to Silver Star Road and the North BX boundary. This area is comprised of older single family homes, with some condo and townhome developments. New construction has occurred in Vernon's North End around the Walmart shopping district, and that has spilled over into multifamily developments being build in the late 2000's. Much of the real estate here is level or near level land which reflects in lower property valuation due to the lack of view. |
