The Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board defines Ashton Creek / Mable Lake as the area east of Enderby and Spallumcheen to the ridge of the Park Range including the Shuswap River and the North end of Mabel Lake. My friends who live in Ashton Creek describe it as a lil piece of paradise. The community has an elementary school, convenience store, church and is home to Lorenzo's Cafe - one of the Okanagans best venues for live music. Created from the old school house, with a dance floor that was formerly lanes of the Lumby Bowling Alley - this is a hot spot for travelling bands and local talent alike. For the most part this area is comprised of various sizes of acreages hobby farms and large land parcels. At Mable Lake, you will find a small resort community with marina, campground, golf course and airstrip. |
